THE ENDLESS WAVE | PART TWO
It’s a known fact that people don’t usually feel safe in quiet areas that are life- less and seem abandoned. People typically avoid these places because they think that trouble lurks in these areas. Skateboarders see these places with love and they bring life and activity to these areas. There is the potential for pedestrians to stop and watch skateboarders and with this increased activity also bring in prosperity to the environment and the surrounding businesses and shops.
I know it can be frustrating to see new urban developments with purpose- built skate-stopping devices and saddening to see changes to current skater frequented environments to prevent further skateboarding from taking place. The truth is, that love always wins. Love always conquers fear. As long as there are streets to roll on, skateboarders will always be able to see opportunities which allow skateboarding to continue to thrive and live on through the people that love and cherish it so much.
There is a greater purpose for skateboarders in the urban landscape.
The Third-Eye of skateboarders empowers and enables them to see the world in ways that others usually can’t. They connect to the vibration of love and send it into the ground, sharing it everywhere that they roll.
